Cheyenne, Wyoming (November 26, 2020) - PAC Global, LLC is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with DigiByte. DigiByte (DGB) is more than a faster digital currency. It is an innovative blockchain that can be used for various leading applications such as smart contracts, digital assets, secure authentication, and other decentralized apps. It is an open-source blockchain created in late 2013 and released in the first part of 2014. After six years of forward-thinking development, DigiByte has become one of the fastest, safest, longest running and most decentralized UTXO (unspent transaction output) blockchain in existence today.

PAC Global currently operates one of the largest decentralized blockchain networks in the world today, with over 10,800 masternodes all based on energy efficient proof-of-stake technology. Furthermore, these nodes can be found in nearly 30 countries throughout all regions of the world. A number of applications have been released on the PAC network to date, including a smart wallet along with decentralized cloud storage set to hit the market shortly. Several new products in development incorporate open source IPFS technology.

Outline of the PAC Global + DigiByte partnership – PAC Global provides their massive masternode network to support the ever growing DigiAssets platform. The PAC nodes run a live active copy of the blockchain and help facilitate instant transactions on its decentralized network. Energy-efficient masternodes can be used in a variety of ways to help confirm and guarantee contracts. DigiAssets plugs into the PAC Global network to help further facilitate smart contracts, real estate contracts, and title insurance policies just to name a few applications.

DigiByte is a very well-respected platform and community which has significant traction in the industry today

stated Drew Saunders, the CEO of PAC Global.

They have a host of exciting products and we feel strongly that our current network helps to improve the overall reach and functionality of the DigiAssets platform. By acquiring additional PAC masternodes, our community continues to grow and expand an already-massive blockchain network over time,” he continued. Per a statement released by DigiByte, “thank you PAC Global for your commitment to support DigiAssets on your IPFS network along with implementing DigiByte for payments in future products you will release for IPFS.

About DigiByte
DigiByte (DGB) is an open-source blockchain created in 2013 and released in early 2014 by DigiByte founder Jared Tate. Its network is based on three layers: smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and customizable tokens. The middle layer, the public ledger, is where DigiByte digital assets exist in the network. The third and bottom layer hosts the decentralized nodes, the client software and their communication. A unique factor of DigiByte is its five mining algorithms — Sha256, Scrypt, Skein, Qubit and Odocrypt — whose advanced difficulty adjustment aims to keep the blockchain secure and protect it from malicious attacks. In addition, DigiByte has its own block explorer, DigiExplorer. DigiByte was the first major altcoin to activate Segwit in April 2017.
In May 2019, DigiByte launched DigiAssets which is a scalable second-layer solution on top of the DigiByte blockchain that offers the decentralized issuance of assets, smart contracts, digital identity, and various other features.
